Bivši igrač američkog nogometa Demaryius Thomas preminuo je u 33. godini, javlja Anadolu Agency (AA).

Thomas je pronađen mrtav u svom domu, potvrdio je Tim Lupo iz policije u gradu Roswellu, u saveznoj američkoj državi Georgia.

“Prve indicije su da je smrt uzrokovana zdravstvenim problemom, nema razloga misliti drugačije”, rekao je Lupo.

Thomas, koji je tokom uspješne karijere igrao za New York Jetse, New England Patriotse, Houston Texanse i Denver Broncose, povukao se u junu ove godine.

Thomas je s Denver Broncosima osvojio trofej Super Bowl u 50. finalu NFL prvenstva 2016. godine. Iskusni igrač je četiri puta izabran u NFL All-Star.
